All classes are a combination of Tai Chi Easy, Qigong & Stretching:  Vitality Enhancement Qigong, Healer Within Medical Qigong, 5 Elements Qigong, 7 Precious Gestures Qigong, 9 Phases of Qi Cultivation and Inner Alchemy.  

Tai Chi 24 Form practice at noon on Wednesdays and available in private lessons and small group classes - By Appointment.  Qigong, Tai Chi Easy and other Qi Cultivation practices also available by appointment.  801-556-5964 *

Class Descriptions:
      Tai Chi, Qigong & Stretching
This is a mindfulness practice, a moving meditation, somewhere between Yoga and Tai Chi.  Breeze through the stresses of life and get your inner core in shape. In this class, you will learn to heal and balance your body with this 5,000-year-old energy work practice. Benefits of this Mindfulness-Mind-Body Moving Meditation include breath practice, balance, improved mobility, flexibility, vitality, inner peace and more!  No experience necessary.

      Tai Chi 24 (Fu Style) Class
This is an excellent form for beginners containing a total of 24 movements.  Basic footwork and body posture are taught, followed by detailed, step-by-step instruction of the entire form.  The student is encouraged to be soft and relaxed to promote blood circulation, physical coordination and more. Class includes Qigong warm up, breath practice, Yi Jin Jing (muscle tendon and strengthening) and stretching.  No experience necessary

      Tai Chi Easy™
Tai Chi Easy™ is not "just" an exercise program. It is a movement practice that uses gentle activities to increase joint flexibility, circulation, range of motion and to maintain muscle strength. As a practice that Harvard calls "meditation in motion," the slow movements and mindset of Tai Chi can be used to manage stress levels by creating a heightened sense of self awareness, mindfulness, empowerment and choice.
